Finances:
A little over $400 in the kitty. Not many paid up members though - subs for 2009 are now!

Sixways:
The submitted images for this years Sixways have to be with Cambridge Camera Club for judging no later than 8th May 2009. The club is accepting both prints and digital images for consideration for this years Sixways but we need to get them in quickly.
Please send up to three of your best images to Sarah via email – at essjaynz@gmail.com - for the Sixways so we can start selecting the set. Even if you are submitting prints, it will help if we can have an emailed copy first to get things started.
Prints can be dropped off to Keith at the Scene office on Arawa Street during work hours. If submitting prints, they do have to mounted.
The final selection will take place at Keith & Elaines at 38 B Burwood Road, on the 2nd May at 2pm. Anyone who would like to attend is more than welcome.
We don't have much time – please get on to this NOW!

Congratulations to Tina and Stuart for a shared 1st in the open prints.
The club has also decided to accept digital images as well as prints for the Open section from now on. No excuses for not submitting now :)

Club Website:
The Matamata Camera Club website has a fresh new look for 2009. It's not quite finished yet but have a look at http://matamatacameraclub.bravehost.com/. In particular I have yet to finish the Gallery, with the plan being to run a slideshow of the theme images each month.
We would also like to showcase our members best work, so please send me up to 6 of your best images to caproff [@] movingstill.net.nz and I'll upload them to the club website. Hopefully, by the time you read this we will have a set by Gilbert posted.

May Theme:
The set theme for next month is ‘Dusk til Dawn'.
Remember to email your theme images to Sarah at essjaynz@gmail.com

Carl.
