Notice from Cambridge Camera Club that the Sixways will be held in Cambridge on 05 July 2009.
Finances:
Due to a preocupation with getting out and shooting for the evenings set theme 'On The Night' we didn't really do any formalities. Members are reminded subs for 2009 are now due!

Judging:
The set theme for March was 'On The Night'. The amassed group was let loose at approx. 7.45pm and roamed the streets of Matamata for an evening shoot. Back at the hall the best photo from the shoot was decided by popular vote on the night and taken by Brie Martin with 'Pub Shot'.
Digital Challenge
The first Digital Challenge for the year was based on a photo provided by Dan Macmillan of the derelict Kaipara Dairy Factory.
There were many very creative enties but ultimately congratulations to Brie Martin for her reworking with 'A Ray Of Sunshine'.
Sarah Macmillan's Duck was also popular on the night.

The Matamata Camera Club website has a fresh new look for 2009. It's not quite finished yet but have a look at http://matamatacameraclub.bravehost.com/. In particular I have yet to finish the Gallery, with the plan being to run a slideshow of the theme images each month.
We would also like to showcase our members best work, so please send me up to 6 of your best images to caproff [@] movingstill.net.nz and I'll upload them to the club website. Thanks to Dan for his set.
